What distinguishes our workshops from other offerings is that the instructors are expert level consultants in their field. We developed these workshops for IBM or for Sittel. We only offer courses in field of our expertise!  It is especially important in the case of configuration management and software distribution, because of the complexity of the material to cover.

 

BTW, we are not just referencing education company, as many others are; we actually have our resources to teach the courses whichever channel you choose: through IBM or Sittel. You can discuss with our experienced instructors your needs and problems, they probably encountered similar problems during their consultation services. This is why we can offer education of high level.

 

During the TPM course all hands-on exercises are using the very powerful Central Lab Platform (CLP) located in Montpellier, France (where there are 219 days of sunshine per year!).  In 2008, Philippe Hamelin was hired by IBM France as a TPM subject matter expert to be part of the team that developed CLP. CLP is the IBM showcase for PaaS(Platform as a Service). IBM in Montpellier provides the hardware, OS, course images, storage and network infrastructure for thousands of courses run daily around the globe. Participants only need access to any browser that can directly connect to the CLP infrastructure from a business or from home. The TEM server and required Endpoints will be provisioned in Montpellier for the duration of the one week course. Everything you do is cumulative and will be saved until the last day of the courses. Then, Virtual Machines will be deprovisioned and resources will be returned to a pool of available resources. That is what TPM does best for you!

Philippe Hamelin, configuration management and software distribution instructor and expert level consultant, has developed this course. In the past he developed for IBM Canada the IBM Tivoli Configuration Manager 4.2.3 Workshop. He has also delivered this course with great success in U.S.A, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway and some other countries. The IBM Tivoli Configuration Manager 4.2.3 Workshop is exclusively delivered by him. Few years ago Philippe developed the Tivoli Software Distribution 3.6 official course material for IBM, used by Tivoli instructors all over the world. Philippe has been delivering all the Tivoli Deployment Workshops in Canada.
